Snailiens at it again

Description

These were all scanned from the same page. All at different angles so I isolated them, rotated them out and cleared away the messiness around it to make it semi-presentable.

The original drawing wasn't drawn all in one go. It took a period over days of continuous looking over. It did start off from one drawing though and the subsequent drawings were based off the one. And so on it goes.

The drawing was left beside my bed so that whenever I wake up, or whenever I'm about to sleep, I would glance at it and get impressions of it right before my left brain gets to make a "oh that's a so and so" type of judgement. These impressions are fresh and non-biased and lasts for a brief moment of time. It is from these faint impressions that I pick up and get glimpse(s) of how to draw them in a new way.

If I didn't get any glimpse(s) that day/night, then I would change the angle of the paper or leave it upside down, then go on about my business as per usual.

Now this is usually a bad idea to try this method right before bed time! If you do happen to catch something cool with your eye, then you will be forced to draw it out. If you put it off then you won't really remember them come next morning as these faint impressions work very much like dreams. So elusive and fleeting with a limited window of opportunity to write/draw them all down. So it's a bit of an inconvenience at how these things work. But well worth it afterwards.
